The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1: Film Review



The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1 today released throughout India.  It is already in the theaters of USA last week (Nov 18).

Breaking Dawn is only going to be a film that Twilight fans enjoy. If you haven't read and fallen in love with the books, there is nothing here for you. You won't get it, and you won't be able to take it seriously. If you love the books however, this movie is exactly what you've been waiting for.

Breaking Dawn has been split into two movies much like the last Harry Potter films. But what frustrates you is that you begin the film knowing that there is no climax.

In Breaking Dawn: Part 1, we start a day before the wedding and go until right after Renesmee(Daughter of Bella and Edward) is born and Bella is turned.

As the reception ends - the honeymoon begins. We remain swept up in the perfect world that every girl wishes she was a part of - only when Bella realizes that there's something not quite right, the film's tone changes entirely.


The honeymoon is over and Bella is pregnant, and her baby isn't completely human. Bella and Edward rush back to Forks, Washington to address the issue with the other Cullens.

It doesn't take long to see that this child is sucking the life out of her (And the digital effects they use in these scenes to make Bella look sickly skinny are truly disturbing). She looks as if she is on the verge of becoming a zombie. 


As the fetus grows rapidly, it threatens Bella`s life. But she is unwilling to abort the baby despite the advice of everyone around. Afraid of the half-human, half-vampire baby growing inside Bella, the wolves plan to kill her even as the Cullen family and Jacob (Taylor Lautner), fight to save her.

Breaking Dawn: Part 1 disappoints when compared to the previous Twilight films. The Breaking Dawn is good only for the die-hard fans of the Twilight series, or teenage girls with fairy tale romance lighting up their eyes. Others beware of a headache.

HIV is not the cause of AIDS : Scientists


Some famous scientists and researchers have revealed that HIV is not the cause of AIDS, rather the whole world has been made fool for the commercial benefit of a bunch of top international business tycoons.

In the year 1984, Dr. Robert Gallo and the then Secretary of Health (U.S) Margaret Heckler announced that the probable cause of AIDS had been discovered and H.I.V. is the sole cause. And since then the mainstream media has the report of only this reason of the disease. But actuality is something else, something more shocking. Let us see what some most eminent scientists opine in this context.

"If there is evidence that HIV causes AIDS, there should be scientific documents which either singly or collectively demonstrate that fact, at least with a high probability. There is no such document." says Dr. Kary Banks Mullis, the Nobel Prize winning Biochemist of U.S.

"I do not regard the causal relationship between HIV and any disease as settled. I have seen considerable evidence that highly improper statistics concerning HIV and AIDS have been passed off as science, and that top members of the scientific establishment have carelessly, if not irresponsible, joined the media in spreading misinformation about the nature of AIDS."  states Dr. Serge Lang, a Professor of Mathematics, at Yale University.

"It is not proven that AIDS is caused by HIV infection, nor is it proven that it plays no role whatever in the syndrome." Says Dr. Harry Rubin, Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California at Berkeley.

"In the old days it was required that a scientist address the possibilities of proving his hypothesis wrong as well as right. Now there's none of that in standard HIV-AIDS program with all its billions of dollars."  Says Dr. Richard Strohman, Emeritus Professor of Cell Biology at the University of California at Berkeley.

"The HIV-causes-AIDS dogma represents the grandest and perhaps the most morally destructive fraud that has ever been perpetrated on young men and women of the Western world." Opines Dr. Charles Thomas former Professor of Biochemistry, Harvard and John Hopkins Universities.

We can very well estimate from these aforementioned statements that HIV is not a cause to AIDS. Rather we have been kept in darkness and have not been intimated with the other side.

The fact is that, the causes of AIDs are – abuse of drugs, malnutrition and foreign proteins in the body. Peter Duesberg maintains that there has never been a case in which a patient had sufficient quantities of HIV to cause an immune system disorder.

Hence herewith, we appeal to the whole world that in the coming World AIDS Day on 1st December 11, we should change our mind to the conventional theory about the cause of HIV and adopt the actual one.

Priyanka Chopra: the seductive vamp of ‘Aitraaz’



Former Miss World, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is a highly talented actress along with her sexy leaps and beautiful physique.

Priyanka is often referred to by the nickname "Piggy Chops", which was given to her by co-stars on the set of the film Bluffmaster.

Chopra made her debut in the 2002 Tamil film Thaimzan laying the role of Priya. She also sang playback in the film, singing "Ullathai Killadhe" along with Vijay.

In 2003, she appeared in her first Bollywood film, opposite Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in the Anil Sharma film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Later that year she appeared in Raj Kanwar's Andaaz, playing the character of Jiya who falls in love with Raj Malhotra, played by Akshay Kumar. The film was a success at the box office earning her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

In 2004, Priyanka appeared in David Dhawan's romantic comedy Mujhse Shaadi Karogi playing the role of a young fashion designer Rani along with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. The film turned out to be the third-highest grossing film of that year providing huge fame to Priyanka.

She next starred in Abbas-Mustan's thriller Aitraaz. It was her first negative role and her performance was critically acclaimed. She earned a Filmfare Best Villain Award, becoming the second and last female actor to win the award. Her 2005 releases, Waqt: The Race Against Time and Bluffmaster performed outstanding at the box office.

In 2006, Chopra starred in two of the most successful films of the year: Krrish, in which she shared the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Rekha, and DonThe Chase Begins Again, alongside Shahrukh Khan.

On 12 December 2009, she was present as a judge for the Miss World 2009 competition held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Shah Rukh Khan admits that he admires Priyanka and thinks she’ll be a pop icon. “I am tone deaf and don’t understand music, but I’ve heard Priyanka and a part of what she’s done. She has a great voice and I believe she can be a huge international crossover star,” he says.

News: Fast unto death by Attabira MLA



Attabira MLA, Nihar Mahanand is going for a ‘fast unto death’ from tomorrow onwards demanding immediate repairing of the N.H.6 at the District Collector’s Office, Bargarh.


It may be noted that N.H.6, the National Highway connecting Mumbai and Kolkata runs also through Bargarh, an agriculture and industry based District, along with other towns and cities. The road is an important connecting media and of national importance.

But the National Highway Authority does not think it necessary to mend it near Bargarh. The High Way runs across the city of Bargarh. The condition of the road is severely miserable and lots of accidents go on daily. It has been neglected since long. The temporary works that has been done is not sufficient enough at all.

The road is also a question to the ecosystem as it provides immense pollution and dust allergy to the dwellers of this town.

Lots of agitations have been initiated in the earlier days but in vain.

In this circumstance, now Nihar Ranjan Mahanand, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Bargarh, has come forward to go for a fast unto death protest for immediate repairing of the road.

ADHAR: Defines your identity


What is Aadhaar? 

Aadhaar is unique 12-digit number that will be issued to individuals by the UIDAI. The aim is to issue a unique ID number that can be verified and authenticated in an online, cost-effective manner. Most importantly, it should be robust enough to eliminate duplicate and fake identities.
However, getting an Aadhaar number is not mandatory. There is no deadline to get an Aadhaar number. Also, Aadhaar cannot be used as a replacement for existing ID proofs. It is also important to recognize that a ration card is not merely a proof of identity or address; it establishes eligibility to receive rations. Similarly, a driving license establishes eligibility to drive. Service providers may choose to embed Aadhaar into exiting forms of identification to make checks more robust.

Features of Aadhaar

You may wonder why anyone would enroll for Aadhaar if it isn’t mandatory, but having an Aadhaar number may actually be beneficial. Firstly, the number will, over time, form the basic, universal identity infrastructure over which registrars and agencies across the country can build their identity-based applications for delivery of services in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Registrars may include state governments, state public sector units (PSUs), banks, telecom companies, etc. who may in turn partner with enrolling agencies to enroll citizens into Aadhaar. Once residents enroll for Aadhaar, service providers will no longer face the problem of performing repeated Know Your Customer (KYC) checks before providing services. They would no longer have to deny services to residents without identification documents.
Another feature of Aadhaar is that, over time, it will be recognized and accepted across the country and across all service providers. Also, authentication would not be a hindrance, owing to the centralized technology infrastructure of the UIDAI. It enables 'anytime, anywhere, anyhow' authentication, which can be done both online as well as offline. Offline authentication can be done via cell phone or land line. Aadhaar will thus give migrants mobility of identity, and it will provide flexibility to poor and rural residents. It will empower them to access services like banking, public distribution system, as well as government schemes like National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) etc.
Aadhaar will also pave the way for a more cleaner and robust data bank. Today, there are multiple databases in existence and so it’s possible for people to furnish different details to different agencies. But since Aadhaar will be centralized, the instances of duplication and fraud will be rare. Every new applicant’s data will be sent to the Central ID Data Repository (CIDR), where it will be checked and verified on key demographic fields and biometrics, against the existing data collected. This self-cleaning mechanism will ensure that there is no duplication of data.

How to get Aadhaar?

Information about the Aadhaar enrolment will be made available in the local media. You will then have to go to the enrolment camp nearest to you and register yourself for Aadhaar. At the time of enrollment, you will have to provide certain documents such as ration card, passport, voter ID, driving license, electricity bill etc. as proof of identity. After registering, you will go through biometric scanning of fingertips and iris. You will also be photographed and given an enrolment number. Your Aadhaar number will be issued to you within sixty to ninety days.

Technology Used

Your biometric profiling will be done with the help of an iris scanner, a fingerprint scanner and a Web camera. The iris cameras conduct a mathematical analysis of the random patterns that are visible within the iris of an eye from some distance. Unlike fingerprints, which can become difficult to recognize over the years due to manual labor, the iris of an eye remains unchanged and is unique to every individual. The digital photo of the iris pattern is converted into an encrypted digital template, which cannot be re-engineered or reproduced in any sort of visual image. Iris recognition therefore affords the highest level of defense against identity theft, the most rapidly growing crime. Next up is face detection, which is used in biometrics, often as a part of (or together with) a facial recognition system. It is also used in video surveillance, human computer interfaces and image database management. The face detection system will measure and analyze the overall structure, shape and proportions of the face. These include the distance between the eyes, shape of the nose, jaw structure, forehead, mouth, etc. Finally, fingerprint scanning is done with the help of a scanner that captures a digital image of the fingerprint pattern. The scan is then digitally processed to create a biometric template, which is stored and used for matching.

Once the data has been captured, it is then encrypted and sent to the CIDR (Central ID Data Repository). Here, it will be cross-checked for duplication against the existing data, thus reducing the possibilities of fraud. The authentication is enabled in a manner that the identity verification queries will only receive a Yes and No responses. Thus, the architecture ensures complete data security and under no circumstance will the residents data be shared with third parties. Also, to ensure seamless functioning, an Analytics and Continuous Improvement team reviews operations on an ongoing basis and releases relevant, actionable reports for all stakeholders.
